Ukrainian Band Fighting Russian Troops Says It Wants To Perform At Ed Sheeran's Concert, Singer Responds
They said they were not afraid to play under the bombs and that through the music they wanted to show that Ukraine is strong and unconquered to the nations that support them.
New Delhi: The Ukrainian band Antytila has asked singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran, if its members can make a virtual appearance at an upcoming concert in Birmingham, England. The band is currently fighting alongside Ukrainian soldiers to defend its country. In the video, they said, "Kyiv will never surrender".

One of the band members, the lead singer Taras Topolya, 34, who was speaking on behalf of the band said that they are grateful to the people of the UK for their support and they learnt about Ed Sheeran's charity concert on March 29. The band offered to join virtually from Kyiv "a city that will not surrender and will never surrender to the Russian occupiers".
They said they were not afraid to play under the bombs and that through the music they wanted to show that Ukraine is strong and unconquered to the nations that support them.
In response, Ed Sheeran, "Firstly I just wanted to say to all Ukrainians, I love you, I stand with you and I'm so proud to be playing this fundraising event next week. I can't wait to check your music out, guys - and I'm sending you lots of love."
According to the Daily Mail, Antytila, have only been able to perform their music once since the war broke out - in a hospital to support the brave doctors in Kyiv.
