The Indian Embassy in Tehran confirmed it is working to assist citizens of Nepal and Sri Lanka who are seeking to leave Iran, following requests from their respective governments. Late Friday night, a flight from Mashhad brought home 290 Indian students — many from Jammu and Kashmir — to Delhi’s IGI Airport. Two more flights from Mashhad are scheduled to arrive today, the first at 4:30 p.m. and the second at 11:30 p.m., both landing at Terminal 3.
Meanwhile, the human toll continues to climb.
In the Iranian city of Qom, a missile strike on a residential building killed two people and left four others injured, according to Iranian state media. Qom is situated near the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, one of the sites targeted by U.S. bombers. Over in Israel, CNN reported a large blaze engulfing a multi-storey apartment building in Holon, a suburb south of Tel Aviv.
Since the beginning of hostilities, Iran’s Health Ministry reports at least 430 fatalities, with many more injured. In Israel, authorities say 24 civilians have lost their lives, as reported by Reuters.

The Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah condemned the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but did not threaten to join in Tehran’s retaliation.
“The blatant deceit and deception practiced by US President Donald Trump, driven by illusions of control and arrogance ... confirms that the United States of America, along with the tyrants of arrogance, is a threat to the security and stability of the Islamic Republic,” the statement issued by Hezbollah on Sunday said, as reported by CNN.
