WhatsApp Update: Multiple Devices Support To Sync Your Chat History Across iOS And Android

It is one of the most in-demand features in which the WhatsApp multi-device support will let you access your account on more than one device at the same time.

WhatsApp New Update: Ever felt the need to use WhatsApp in multiple devices? If yes, then the wait should get over soon. It is one of the most in-demand features in which the WhatsApp multi-device support will let you access your account on more than one device at the same time. Even though WhatsApp didn’t officially announce the news but what we know is that it is reportedly testing the feature in parts for both iOS and Android users. According to WABetaInfo, the website which offers updates on WhatsApp news for iOS, Android and Windows, this new feature is being worked on in parts. Once the feature is rolled out, you should be able to use the platform across four different devices at the same time. It is working to create an interface on the Android app and on WhatsApp for iOS. What is being tested? Normally, if you want to use the account on a second device, there is an issue with the chat history. It requires a WiFi connection since it may use a large amount of your data plan.
Once you are connected to the WiFi network, the login process will begin. Even as the WhatsApp Desktop has been used for the test but it will work on a second mobile device too. As per the report, it is likely that WhatsApp will allow other mobile devices to be connected to your main device slightly later than WhatsApp desktop. It means internet connection on your device will not be required to WhatsApp Desktop if this feature exist. After the chat history has been copied to the second device, it will be possible to use your account from it. This will allow any message to be delivered to all your family devices thereby syncing the chat history across platforms and when you use or remove a device, your encryption key changes. In fact, at the time of key changes in the encryption, all active chats will be notified, if your Security Notifications are on. Moreover, there is another  good news! It has also developed an iPad app which will go live after this multiple-device feature is activated and you will soon be able to use WhatsApp on your iPhone and the iPad at the same time. Support between Android and iOS devices is not confirmed yet, but it might be something WhatsApp is going to bring in too. WhatsApp was working on converting the iOS database to the one that’s compatible with the Android format previously. This feature is under development and it will be available in future.
