Pakistan Sponsored Narco-Terror Module Busted; Terrorist Associate Arrested, Heroin Worth Rs 50 Crs Recovered
Kupwara Police busted the Pakistan sponsored Narco-Terror Module and arrested one Terrorist Associate identified Mujasir Ahmad Lone, resident of Keran area of Kupwara.
Kupwara (Jammu & Kashmir): Kupwara police has busted a cross border narco-terror module and recovered drugs worth Crores. One person Has been arrested while efforts are on to track the other members of the module.
Acting on a specific information, Kupwara Police busted the Pakistan sponsored Narco-Terror Module and arrested one Terrorist Associate identified Mujasir Ahmad Lone, resident of Keran area of Kupwara.

Narcotic substance believed to be Heroin weighing 8Kg and worth 50 Cr. Market value were recovered from his possession. The other absconded involved persons have been identified and efforts are being taken to arrest them.
According to SSP Kupwara G V Sundeep, the Module was in close touch with Pakistan based Terror handlers and were involved in drug trade & assisting financially to active terrorists of the Valley. The recoveries also exposed the inter connection between drug dealers and terrorists.
The module was working for Terrorists to strengthen their activities in the valley and were misguiding and motivating the local youth of the Valley to join militant ranks.
A Case under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Kralpora and investigation has been taken up.
