Aside from this, Amazon told Popular Information it “has suspended contributions to any member of Congress who voted to override the results of the U.S. presidential election.” The e-commerce giant donated over $600,000 to Republicans who voted to overturn the election results. After the attack, social media giants suspended Donald Trump’s accounts from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Many world leaders condemned the attack. Trump later in a new video message spoke out against the violence, calling it a “heinous attack” and conceded that Joe Biden will be the next US President. Trump also said that he is “outraged by the lawlessness and mayhem”.
