What is PM Narendra Modi’s next plan?

New Delhi: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken his silence on illegal, black money which is deposited in Jan-Dhan accounts. Modi has cautioned those rich who have deposited their black money in these accounts by taking help of poor account holders. He has made it clear that those who have deposited their black money in these Jan-Dhan accounts will have to go to jail while the money will be given to poor account holders. Actually, after the announcement of notes ban on November 8, the number of Jan-Dhan accounts increased to 27 lakh till November 30. Likewise, after the announcement of demonetisation, the cash in these accounts swelled from 45 thousand crores to 74 thousand crores! In other words, an increase of nearly 30 thousand crores in such short time. Interestingly, in the first week itself, 7 lakh accounts were opened. As per reports, 92 percent accounts were opened in the urban areas. However, the number of zero-balance bank accounts, reportedly, decreased to 5 lakh. "Some people touched the feet of poor people. You are such a nice person...do one thing deposited my 3-4 lakh rupees in your account," said PM Modi during a rally. "Have you ever saw a rich person touching feet of poor", asked PM in the recent rally. Now PM Modi is appealing poor Jan-Dhan accounts holders not to return the money of those rich who have deposited cash in their accounts, as now they (rich) are caught. "Don't withdraw even a single rupee...see he (the rich) will come to your house regularly. He will touch your feet", PM said. Limit imposed: After the demonetisation, the central government is keeping a close watch on Jan-Dhan accounts as wealthy people had started depositing their black money in these accounts taking help of poor account bearer. Prior to demonetisation, there was no upper limit on depositing money in such accounts but now a cap of Rs 50,000 is put in place. The limit of withdrawing money is also now fixed to Rs 10,000 per month.
