Wanted JeM terrorist Abdul Majeed Baba arrested from Srinagar

The arrest was made successful by a team of Special Cell south western range, as they had been working on the inputs to trace Baba for a long time.

New Delhi: A team of special cell South western range nabbed a terrorist from Srinagar on late Monday evening from PS Soura area in Downtown Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. The terrorist Abdul Majeed Baba was an absconding for a long time and has been affiliated to terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad. The police have also seized several arms and ammunition from Baba. The arrest was made successful by a team of Special Cell south western range, as they had been working on the inputs to trace Baba for a long time. As per reports, he is a resident of village Magrepora district in Sopore and carried a reward of Rs 2lakh on his arrest. The terrorist was wanted in case Fir No 07/07- PS Special Cell and NBW which was issued by Delhi High Court. He will now be produced before the CJM Srinagar and brought to Delhi on transit remand.
