Uttarakhand: Fake qualification case against university V-C

New Delhi: The Vice-Chancellor of Gurukul Kangri University, Surendra Kumar has been booked by the Haridwar police after there was a complaint that his education qualifications are ‘fake’. As alleged by the complainant, the VC had passed his high school at the age of five and his intermediate at the age of nine. He also allegedly got his graduation degree when he was eleven. However, the VC claimed that there was nothing wrong in his qualifications. He said that he had completed high school in 1962 at the age of 11 years, and intermediate in 1964 at the age of 13 years. In 1970, he got his graduation degree from Gurukul Mahavidyalaya, at the age of 19. Since his date of birth, as per the Gurukul Mahavidyalaya letter is January 12th 1951, the previously alleged ages are incorrect, as claimed by the VC
