UP Weather To Change Again, Rain & Thunderstorms Forecast For This Week: Check Details

Western Uttar Pradesh, including Noida and Ghaziabad, will experience strong winds and possible rain from Wednesday due to a western disturbance.

UP Weather News: Temperatures in Uttar Pradesh have fallen over the past two days, with bright sunshine on Monday bringing some relief to people. However, the weather is set to change once again. Two new western disturbances are becoming active in the state, which will have an impact. The India Meteorological Department has forecast rain in several districts, including Noida and Ghaziabad, over the next two days. A dense fog alert has been issued for most parts of eastern UP. 

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in Uttar Pradesh is likely to remain dry today. During this time, light to moderate fog is likely to prevail in different parts of western UP. During this time, surface winds blowing at a speed of 20-30 km per hour will cause a chill, and dense fog is likely to prevail in several districts of eastern UP. 

Rain And Fog Alert In UP

The effects of the western disturbance will be felt in several districts of western UP from Wednesday, January 21. During this time, there may be rain with strong winds. A warning of lightning along with thunder has been issued in some places.

Such weather is expected to continue in the state until Thursday. After that, the cold will start to decrease again. The minimum temperature may increase by 2 degrees Celsius in the next two days. However, there seems to be no relief from the fog.

A yellow alert for fog has been issued in Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar and Deoria in UP today. There may be rain with strong winds in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Sambhal, Amroha, Hapur, Aligarh, Hathras, Mathura, Agra and Firozabad, and a warning of lightning has been issued in many places.
