SHOCKING: Woman strangled to death over dowry

Muzaffarnagar: A 30-year-old woman was allegedly strangled to death by her in-laws over dowry at Bhensi village here, police said on Monday. On the complaint made by her family, an FIR has been registered against husband, Amit Kumar, his father Satlal, his mother Bimla, brother-in-law Las Bablu and two others, SHO Pankaj Tyagi said. All of them are absconding, the officer said. In another incident, body of a 35-year-old woman was yesterday found at Rajpura road near Barla village here, police said. The deceased has not yet been identified, they said. We have initiated investigation in both the matters and efforts are on to nab the accused, police said.
