Salman Khan faces flak for his rape comment, BJP demands apology

MUMBAI: Superstar Salman Khan should tender an apology for his controversial statement on women, BJP said today. The 50-year-old actor has landed himself in a controversy after he reportedly compared himself with a raped woman when quizzed about the gruelling "Sultan" shoot. "Salman Khan should apologise. It might be a slip of tongue. There is no rationale to it," BJP spokesperson Shaina NC said. "This isn't about Salman's fan following but about a self-respecting man respecting women," she added.
