Congress VP Rahul Gandhi rubbishes Exit Poll Results: 5 key points

New Delhi: Congress VP Rahul Gandhi on Friday rubbished exit poll results saying his party's alliance with ruling Samajwadi Party will win Uttar Pradesh elections. 5 KEY POINTS
  • Speaking to reporters in the national capital, he said the exit poll results after Bihar polls were proved wrong.

  • Pollsters have predicted the BJP as the largest party in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur while a setback for SAD- BJP alliance in Punjab. UP Congress president Raj Babbar also told ABP News, "You have seen the exit poll results in Bihar. We are waiting for the entry poll results tomorrow."

  • "No one will want President's rule imposed in the state and BJP run the government through the remote control. SP-Congress will get enough seats, will form government on its own. But if required let us see," Akhilesh said.

  • Throughout the bitter, recrimination-filled campaign, Mayawati never attacked Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, who had a word of praise for the BSP chief when he said his respect for her was intact. He had said he considered BJP and not BSP dangerous for the country.
