Such miscreants haven’t spared even children. A 12-year-old girl on the Mangalore-Thiruvananthapuram Express was injured after being hit by a rock hurled at the moving train in Kannur. Railway authorities in that section took cognisance of such recurring incidents and apprehended a few schoolchildren for hurling stones at moving trains near Ullal station, reported OnManorama.
However, a concrete plan for curbing such incidents is yet to be formulated by the railway authorities.
