PM Modi To Inaugurate Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit During Visit From January 8-10

PM Modi will visit Gujarat to inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit and Global Trade Show. He will hold meetings with top global corporations CEOs and prominent business leaders at GIFT City.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat from January 8-10, 2023, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). PM Modi will arrive at Gandhinagar's Mahatma Mandir at around 9:30 a.m. on January 9. He will also hold bilateral meetings with top world leaders and CEOs of renowned global corporations. He will then inaugurate the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show at around 3 p.m., according to PMO.

The next day, at 9:45 a.m. the Prime Minister will launch the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar. Subsequently, he will meet with the CEOs of top global corporations before traveling to GIFT City at 5:15 p.m. to attend the Global FinTech Leadership Forum. There, he will interact with prominent business leaders from across the world, as reported by PMO.

Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2023

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit was PM Modi's vision, which was conceptualised back in 2003. It has now evolved into one of the most regarded global forums for strategic partnerships, knowledge sharing, and business collaborations involving sustainable development and inclusive growth, as per PMO.

The tenth edition of this summit will be celebrated this year to mark "20 Years of Vibrant Gujarat as the Summit of Success." The summit's theme is 'Gateway to the Future' and will be held from January 10 to 12, 2024, in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, according to the PMO release.

34 partner countries and 16 partner organisations will participate in this year's summit. Various events, such as conferences and seminars on topics including Sustainable Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Electric Mobility and Renewable Energy, technology and Innovation, and Green Hydrogen, Renewable Energy, and Transition towards Sustainability. 

The Ministry of Development of the North Eastern Region will also make use of the Vibrant Gujarat platform to demonstrate investment opportunities in the North-Eastern regions, the PMO stated.

The Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show will be a platform for companies to display their products developed using state-of-the-art technologies. The key focus sectors of the Trade Show are Blue Economy, E-mobility, Green Energy and Smart Infrastructure, and MSMEs.
