'Inspiration To Youth': PM Modi, President Murmu Pay Tribute To Swami Vivekananda On His Birth Anniversary
PM Modi will inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival in Maharashtra's Nashik on Friday on the occasion Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Droupadi Murmu paid tribute to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. PM Modi said that Vivekananda established Indian spiritualism as well as culture on a global stage. Swami Vivekananda was born on January 12, 1863. Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary is observed as the National Youth Day.
PM Modi will inaugurate the 27th National Youth Festival in Maharashtra's Nashik on Friday. The festival is an annual event organised on Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, drawing the participation of youth from all corners of the country.
"Hundreds of salutes to Swami Vivekananda, who established Indian spirituality and culture on the global stage, on the occasion of his birth anniversary and National Youth Day. His thoughts and messages, full of energy and enthusiasm, will continue to inspire the youth to do something from time to time", PM Modi tweeted on X.

Similarly, President Droupadi Murmu expressed hope that the teachings and ideas of the leader, spiritual figure, and social reformer will continue to guide future generations, as she paid tribute to him.
"I pay my humble tributes to Swami Vivekananda on his birth anniversary. A great spiritual leader and reformer, Swami ji travelled across the country to make Indians aware of their rich cultural heritage. He inspired the youth to work for nation-building and serve humanity. He had spread the great Indian spiritual message to the West. May his teachings and ideas continue to guide future generations," Murmu said in a post on X.
