PM Modi Focuses On 'Vibrant Village Programme' At Budget 2022 Implementation Webinar | Highlights
PM Modi laid emphasis on the 'Vibrant Village Programme' announced in the Union Budget 2022 by highlighting the importance of development in border villages.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday addressed a post-budget webinar where he spoke of enhancing the capabilities of each individual and every sector. He also laid emphasis on the 'Vibrant Village Programme' announced in the Union Budget 2022 by highlighting the importance of development in border villages.
"The Vibrant Village Programme announced in the budget is very important for the development of our border villages," said the PM while speaking at the webinar.
"In this budget, a clear roadmap has been given by the government to achieve this lofty goal of saturation. In the budget, necessary provision has been made for every such scheme including PM Awas Yojana Gramin Sadak Yojana, Jal Jeevan Mission, North East connectivity, broadband connectivity of villages,"added the Prime Minister.
PM Modi also said that his government has been working hard for the last seven years in order to provide better connectivity in villages, build concrete houses, focus on sanitation by building toilets and provide electricity and gas to the poor.

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had proposed in the budget to accelerate development in border villages, keeping in view security concerns.
The PM again emphasised on 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas' initiate that his government has adopted to formulate policies.
The alloction of RS 48000 crore to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and efforts being made to achieve the target of building 80 lakh homes under the scheme was also discussed by the Prime Minister.
The webinar, organised by the Ministry of Education was aimed at bringing industry leaders, policy makers and the government together to discuss the positive impact of the budget and build strategies to collectively work towards the upliftment of the people.
There was participation from the private sector, grassroot stakeholders along with various ministries and state governments. Skill development organizations, educationists and students were also a part of the webinar.
Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR), Ministry of Housing AND Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MoDONER), Department of Telecommunication and Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITY), Department of Border Management (DoBM) and Department of Posts (DoP) were some of the participating ministries and departments of the government.
