PM Modi Addresses J&K Rozgar Mela, Says 'Together We Have To Take J&K To New Heights'

PM Modi on Sunday said that Jammu and Kashmir is pride of every Indian

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that Jammu and Kashmir is pride of every Indian as reported by news agency ANI. Addressing Jammu and Kashmir Rozgar Mela via video conferencing, PM Modi said that together we have to take Jammu and Kashmir to new heights.    

“Jammu and Kashmir is the pride of every Indian. Together we have to take J&K to new heights,” ANI quoted PM Modi as saying.

During the address, PM Modi also said that in the last 8 years, government has taken many steps to encourage employment opportunities. He added that over 10 lakh appointment letters are to be handed in the coming few months by Central government in the first phase of Rozgar Mela in the country.

PM Modi also said that since 2019 till now almost 30,000 government posts have been filled in Jammu & Kashmir. "I have been told that since 2019 till now almost 30,000 govt posts have been filled in Jammu & Kashmir, out of which almost 20,000 jobs have been given in the last 1-1.5 years," ANI quoted PM Modi as saying.
