Operation Sindoor LIVE: US Secretary Marco Rubio Dials Pak PM Sharif, Urges Ending Violence
Operation Sindoor live updates: Indian forces strike terror camps in Pakistan and PoK after Pahalgam attack. All-party meet convened

Background
In the early hours of Wednesday, the Indian armed forces executed a series of precise, targeted strikes on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) as part of 'Operation Sindoor'. The operation was launched in response to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians, triggering widespread outrage across India.
According to an official government statement released around 2 AM, the strikes were described as "focused, measured, and non-escalatory," aimed specifically at eliminating terror hubs responsible for attacks on Indian soil. The mission targeted nine key locations, including Bahawalpur and Muridke, known strongholds of the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist groups, respectively. Notably, all Indian Air Force pilots involved in the operation returned safely.
Following the strikes, the Indian Army posted on X, "Justice is served. Jai Hind!" in a symbolic message marking the successful completion of the mission. The strikes were reportedly a coordinated effort involving all three branches of the Indian armed forces, reflecting a decisive response to the recent attack.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that the Indian armed forces executed Operation Sindoor smashing nine terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied-Kashmir with unimaginable precision and a large number of terrorists were eliminated in the mission. He congratulated the armed forces for displaying courage and valour displayed in carrying out the operation.
In all party meeting, Rajnath Singh also briefed the leaders about the action taken by the armed forces, but refused to share details about Operation Sindoor saying the action was still ongoing.
