MP: Major accident between tractor trolley & jeep kills 12 people in Morena; 8 critically injured

The victims travelling in the jeep belonged to Gwalior and were returning from a wedding function.

Madhya Pradesh: A major accident between a tractor trolley and a jeep shook Morena district on Thursday morning killing 12 people and severely injuring 8. Both the vehicles got reduced to rubble as the intensity of the accident was very high.  The incident took place at 7 am in the morning when a high speeding tractor rammed into a jeep. The victims travelling in the jeep belonged to Gwalior and were returning from a wedding function.

The injured were stuck inside the jeep and had to be pulled out with force and were rushed to the nearby hospital, whereas 12 people succumbed to the injuries. The incident is being linked to mining mafias, who have been in news in the state. More details on the same are awaited.
