Maharashtra Man Murders Wife After Being Fed Up Of Her Prolonged Illness
A jobless man in Maharashtra killed his wife because he was fed up of taking care of her illness.
Mumbai: Indians make huge promises to their life partner when they get married and one of them is 'I will stand with you, in sickness and in health'. Irrespective of the religions, this vow is generally being followed with utter devotion and care but in a shocking incident in Maharashtra, a middle-aged man in Maharashtra murdered his wife because he was tired of taking care of her.
The man was fed up of taking care of his ailing wife so he decided to kill her.
A police officer said that the 45-yr-old man was jobless and he was not able to handle his wife's illness and the medical treatment in Maharashtra's Parbhani district, so he killed her.
The incident took place on Saturday night when the man stabbed his wife, who was suffering from brain tumour, with a sharp weapon at their home in Mudgal village, located about 500 km from here, he said.
After murdering his ailing wife, the accused later came out of the house and threw his blood-stained clothes near the house.
Some locals got alarmed by his act and alerted the police who reached the spot and seized the clothes.
Police officers tracked the man and arrested him on Sunday, as quoted by PTI.
"The accused said he killed his wife after being fed up with her illness and medical treatment," Pathari police station's inspector Vasant Chavan said.
A case was registered against the accused under various Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including 302 (murder), according to the police officer
