In the video, a woman could be seen calling someone on phone and pressurizing the cop to speak to the person on call. After imposing pressure on the cops, the family was allowed to leave without imposing a chalan. But, later after the matter came to light a chalan of Rs 3,000 was slapped on the man for not having documents of insurance. The man has been identified as Rakesh Chouhan, who is CM's cousin sister's husband. Chief Minister on the other hand maintained silence on the matter and evaded a question on the incident saying “the law will take its course”. On being questioned if the woman seen screaming in the video is his sister, he said “I have crores of sisters in Madhya Pradesh”. Slamming the government over the incident, Congress leader Shobha Ojha on Fridat said “This isn’t new. There is a jungle raj in M.P and such incidents keep taking place”. The police on the other hand have begun an investigation in the case and have noted the details of the vehicle in which the family was travelling.
