PM Modi Slams ‘Dangerous Ideology’ Of K'tka Congress: ‘Bombs Exploding In Markets, People Attacked For Religious Songs’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that influential people both within India and abroad have joined forces to remove him from power during a gathering in Chikkaballapura.

NewDelhi: Addressing a rally in Bengaluru, Prime Minister Modi slammed the Congress government's dangerous ideology in Karnataka. PM Modi also mentioned about the escalating incidents such as attacks on women, bombings in markets, and assaults on individuals for listening to religious songs in reference to the recent Rameshwaram Cafe blast and attack on a shopkeeper over playing Hanuman Chalisa during Azaan in Bengaluru.

PM Modi said, "The kind of thoughts and ideology being promoted by Congress government in Karnataka is very dangerous. Our daughters are being attacked, bombs are exploding in markets, and people are being attacked for listening to religious songs, these incidents are not common. I urge my brothers and sisters to stay very alert of the Congress", as per ANI. ALSO READ| Doordarshan's New Saffron Logo Sparks Row, Former Prasar Bharati CEO Says 'It Hurts To See...'

PM Modi Slams Karnataka Govt Over Bengaluru Water Crisis, Says Transformed Tech City Into 'Tanker City'

Modi highlighted the NDA government's significant investments in social, physical, and digital infrastructure, contrasting it with the Karnataka Congress government's purported focus solely on corruption. He mentioned state of affairs in Bengaluru, attributing its decline to the Congress government's negligence, transforming it from a tech city to a "tanker city" ruled by the water mafia.

"Congress has changed tech city into tanker city, and has left it to the water mafia," he remarked.

PM Modi highlighted the BJP's electoral success in the 2014 and 2019 general elections, which has strengthened the country. He alluded to India's transformation from being considered among the "fragile five" to becoming one of the world's top five economies.

"India today is among the world's top five economies, he said. India today is not the one that follows, but has become the first mover. This has happened in just ten years", PM said.

"In this election, I.N.D.I.A bloc leaders are going around with an old tape recorder, while Modi and his friends are seeking blessings once again with the track record", the prime minister said. He accused the Congress and the I.N.D.I.A Alliance of targeting him and his family with false allegations, while his focus remains steadfast on India's progress in the 21st century and its global stature.

PM Modi criticised the reduction of budgets in various sectors by the Karnataka government, saying that only Central government projects are progressing rapidly in the state.

Karnataka's upcoming polls, split into two phases, will witness voting in 14 Lok Sabha constituencies each on April 26 and May 7, respectively.
