Kupwara: Army soldier injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Tangdhar sector
The incident comes after an Army soldier was killed in a sniper fire by Pakistani rangers at Tangdhar sector along Line of Control on August 13.
Srinagar: In yet another attack by Pakistan, an Indian Army soldier was injured on Tuesday morning at Tangdgar sector along the Line of Control in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
As per sources, the jawan was injured in ‘sniper fire’ by Pakistan rangers.
As per the police Pakistan rangers violated ceasefire by opening fire rounds of fire upon the army posts of 20 Jat at Tikri post along the LoC in Tangdhar today at around 4:40am.
“The injured soldier was taken to Drugmulla military hospital for treatment” the police said.
The injured soldier has been identified as Kouhsal Pal Singh.
