Key 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks suspect arrested in Pakistan

Islamabad: Key suspect in the 2008 Mumbai 26/11 terror attacks has been arrested by security agencies in Pakistan, it was announced late on Thursday. The terror which evoked world condemnation the claimed over 160 lives, including foreigners, and 308 others were wounded. Suspect Sufiyan Zafar, wanted in connection with the attacks, had reportedly assisted prime suspect Hammad Amin Sadiq financially, a sources close to the development said. According to the sources, an anti-terrorism court granted eight-day physical remand of the suspect. Sources further said that a Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team, headed by Director Mazhar Kakakhel, was interrogating the suspect.
