Jharkhand court issues summons against state BJP president

Ranchi: A Jharkhand court has issued summons against the state Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) president Tala Marandi and five others in connection with marriage of a minor girl. Judicial Magistrate of Godda, Ananda Singh, yesterday issued summons after the Block Development Officer of Boarijor filed an inquiry report, following the court's direction on Tuesday. In the report, it is stated that the son of Tala Marandi was married to a minor girl on June 27 this year. The court has asked all the six accused to be present before it on August 22.
