Inflation Hit: Prices Of Essential Commodities Hiked, Check Rate List

The prices of essential commodities have increased significantly in the last few weeks. From steel, copper to milk and petrol, diesel, inflation is skyrocketing.

The prices of cylinders, petrol, diesel, milk, etc. have increased in the last week. Petrol and diesel prices have been increasing continuously for the last one month. Essential commodities like vegetables and household items have also become expensive. Along with this, the expenditure on the electricity bill, house rent, shop rent, children's school fees, medicines, etc. can increase manifold. Let us know in detail about how much the price of these items has increased-

1) Mustard oil out of the kitchen
. Mustard oil priced at about Rs 130 last year is being sold at Rs 200, the price of vegetable ghee has gone up from Rs 90 to Rs 150, refined oil from Rs 90 to Rs 150, tea leaves from Rs 250 to Rs 400. Mustard oil has become so expensive that many people have replaced it with refined oil. On the other hand, the price of Rajma has increased from Rs 110 to Rs 140, chickpea from Rs 90 to Rs 120 per kg. According to the data available with the Consumer Department of the Ministry of Food, edible oils, from eggs to rajma and pulses, have become expensive in the last one year. A carat of 30 eggs was sold at a rate of Rs 190 to 200 per carat in Delhi's ration shops. Even today it is being sold at Rs 180 per carat. In the last three-four months, the price of pulses has also increased by Rs 10-20 per kg, while the price of Rajma has increased from Rs 85-95 per kg to Rs 140.

2) Milk price hiked by Rs 2
. Amul has increased the price of milk. . The price of Amul Milk has increased by Rs 2 per liter. . This increased milk price is applicable from July 1, 2021. . The new prices of Amul milk will be applicable in many states including Delhi, Gujarat, and Punjab. . The company has increased the prices of all of its milk products by Rs 2. . All Amul's milk products Amul Gold, Amul Shakti, Amul Taza, Amul T-Special, Amul Slim, and Trium will be hiked by Rs 2 per liter. . Amul Gold is now available at Rs 58 per liter after the price rise. 

3) Gas cylinder
. The gas cylinder becomes expensive. . In Delhi, the cost of a 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 809 to Rs 834.50. . In Kolkata, its cost has increased from Rs 835.50 to Rs 861, in Mumbai it has increased from Rs 809 to Rs 834, and in Chennai from Rs 825 to Rs 850. . In Delhi, a 19 kg LPG cylinder now costs Rs 1550 as against Rs 1473.50 last month. . Surprisingly, is that the price of the LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 321 in 15 months. . In May 2020, the price of the LPG cylinder was Rs 621, and in August it increased to Rs 683. . In September, this amount increased to Rs 692 per cylinder.

4) The price of petrol and diesel is close to a hundred 
. The price of one-liter petrol in Delhi has gone up to Rs 99.86 one-liter diesel costs Rs 89.36 in Delhi. 5) Petrol price in Mumbai is Rs 105.93. . Whereas, in Chennai, petrol costs have crossed Rs 100 mark and petrol is currently being sold at Rs 100.79 per liter. . The price of petrol in Kolkata is also nearing a three-digit figure and is being sold at Rs 99.80 per liter.  

5) Smartphones, TVs, cars and fridges may become expensive in July
. Many companies have again increased the prices of consumer goods, electronic goods, and smartphones. . The prices of these items have increased thrice this year. . Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motor Corp, electronic product companies, Sony, LG, and Godrej increased the prices of their products last week. . Apart from this, Xiaomi, Realme and Vivo announced to increase the prices of their respective smartphones. . In the last six months, many companies have increased the prices of their products by 3 to 5 percent. . According to a report, Bajaj Electronic, a leading company in the home appliances sector, will increase the prices of all of its products by at least 3 percent from July to August. . Similarly, Godrej Appliances may increase the prices of products by 7-8 percent twice in the second quarter. . AC maker Blue Star is also preparing to increase the price of its product by 5-8 percent from September 1.
