In another flight-related incident, a flap issue caused the Air India flight from Delhi to Paris to return to the bay at Delhi airport. According to the national carrier, the flight with approximately 231 passengers successfully landed at the airport.

A senior official from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) informed that a "Slats Drive" snag message caused the Air India B787-800 aircraft VT-AND, which was operating flight AI143 from Delhi to Paris, to turn back.

After Air India's flight from Delhi to Paris made an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday afternoon, the DGCA issued an order for an investigation.

He went on to say that an issue with the flap caused the emergency landing to occur at 2:25 p.m. The flight departed at 1:28 p.m., a full emergency was declared at 2:03 p.m., and it made an uneventful landing. At the time an emergency was declared, it had 210 passengers aboard. Every passenger is safe.

On Wednesday, an IndiGo flight IGO 6687 from Ahemdabad to Raipur had to divert to Bhubaneswar due to poor visibility. Flight operations were halted due to poor visibility.

A technical issue caused an IndiGo flight to return to the Indira Gandhi International Airport shortly after taking off for Phuket, Thailand on Tuesday. The pilot of IndiGo 6E-1763 took off at 6:41 a.m., but the aircraft reported a technical issue, and the flight returned to the bay at Delhi airport around 7:31 a.m. While an alternate aircraft was arranged for the subsequent flight, all passengers were deboarded and moved to the terminal building.
