In a swift retaliatory response to escalating cross-border excursions on Thursday evening, India has launched a drone attack on Lahore. The attack follows a series of drone strikes by Pakistan in Rajasthan and other border areas, leading to heightened security alerts in India’s border regions. 

Pakistan's Air Force has confirmed that one of its AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) aircraft was shot down inside Punjab province, Pakistan.
