'Talks Underway With China, Will Not Keep Anyone In Dark,' Rajnath Responds To Opposition's Allegations

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also said that the first batch of Rafale jets will arrive in India in the month of July.

New Delhi: Amid reports of military build-up along the Line of Actual Control by China, India’s defence minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said that talks with China are going on and the government will share the details at the right time. Refuting the allegations by the Congress, Singh said that the government has no intentions to keep in dark its people, when the right time will come, the information will be shared. He reiterated that India will never compromise on its integrity. “Talks are underway with China at diplomatic and military level. China too expressed wish to resolve this issue via talks. I'd like to inform Opposition that our govt won't keep anyone in the dark. I assure you that we won't compromise with national pride in any situation,” Singh said. Singh’s statement comes at a time when India remains locked in tensions with three of its neighbours, Pakistan, China and Nepal, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. Rafale Will Arrive In July Rajnath Singh has said that the first batch of Rafale jets will arrive in India in the month of July, enhancing the air capabilities of the country. He said that India is seeking to enhance its defence capabilities, however, the aim is to boost its own strength and not to frighten other countries. It is to be noted that Rafale’s first batch was reported to arrive in May , which got deferred due to the Coronavirus induced lockdown. PoK will soon want to be India’s part Singh said that the day is not far when people of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir will demand a merger with India. “Soon people of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) will demand that they want to be with India & not under the rule of Pakistan, and the day this happens, a goal of our Parliament will also be accomplished,” he said. Earlier in Kashmir, protests demanding 'Kashmir azaadi' were held and flags of Pakistan & ISIS were seen, but now only Indian flag is seen there, Singh said.
