IIT JEE Advanced Result 2018 declared: Pranav Goel tops with 337 marks

Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates is available on the online portal jeeadv.ac.in

 New Delhi: IIT Kanpur declared the results of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 for admissions into IITs on Sunday morning. The examination which was conducted by IIT Kanpur on May 20 was declared on their official website:  jeeadv.ac.in. This year, 11,279 seats are on offer at 23 IITs across the country. Meenal Parakh roll no 2***002 is the female topper. Her common ranking list in JEE is 6; she got 318 marks of 360. Whereas, Pranav Goyal, roll number 7***035 has topped the JEE advance, he has obtained 337 marks out of 360 marks. Goyal is from IIT Roorkee zone. Category-wise All India Ranks (AIR) of successful candidates is available on the online portal jeeadv.ac. The second position has been secured by Kota's Sahil Jain while Delhi's Kailash Gupta got the third spot. Kota's Meenal Parekh has emerged as topper among girls with 318 marks. Around, 1.55 lakh students appeared for the JEE Advanced examination this year that was conducted on May 20 out of which 18,138 have qualified. With results out now, seat allocation will commence from June 15. For the first time, JEE Advanced was held completely in the online mode. Selected ones will obtain admission into undergraduate courses, which will help in obtaining a bachelor's, integrated masters or bachelor-master dual degree in engineering, sciences or architecture. Aspirants can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years. Steps to check JEE (Advanced) 2018 Result: Step 1. Log on to the website jeeadv.ac.in. Step 2. Click on the link https://results.jeeadv.ac.in Step 3. Enter JEE Advanced 2018 Registration Number, DoB, Mobile Number and Email Address and click sign in Step 4. Check your rank and score. Download the scorecard for future reference Scorecard is required for seat allocation process conducted by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) as individual rank cards will not be sent to candidates. The JEE (Advanced) examination is conducted for admissions into B.Tech programmes at IITs.
