Hyderabad: Telugu TV actor Pradeep Kumar commits suicide

New Delhi: A Telugu serial actor committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling at his apartment in Alkapuri colony in the wee hours of Wednesday. Narsingi cops said that Pradeep Kumar (29) hanged himself using a saree at his Green Iconia apartments. His wife Pavani and brother in law Shravan were in other room of the same apartment when the incident took place. At around 4.30 am, Pradeep's wife found that the Pradeep had locked himself inside the room and was also not responding either to phone calls or repeated knocking of the door. The relatives forcefully opened the door only to find Pradeep hanging. Pradeep, reportedly, did not leave any suicide note. However, his wife claimed the couple had an argument over a petty issue following a party at their house, which might be the cause of his death. Pradeep acted in serials like Aruguru Pathivrathulu, Sapthamathrika and few others and also acted as a junior artiste in some Tollywood movies. His wife Pavani is also a small time actress.
