Himalayan Queen train gets derailed near Panipat; no casualty reported

A coach of the Delhi to Kalka Himayalan Queen Passenger train got derailed near Bhodwal Majri railway station.

New Delhi: In a narrow escape for thousands of passengers ahead of the festival of Holi, Himalayan Queen train warded off a major accident after getting derailed on Delhi-Ambala track on Wednesday morning . A coach of the Delhi to Kalka Himayalan Queen Passenger train got derailed near Bhodwal Majri railway station. The last bogie of the passenger train got off track near Bhodwal Majri station. In a precarious situation, the bogie continued to run for about 200 meters, even after getting derailed. Railway officials reached the spot immediately after the accident. Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Delhi Division is rushing to the spot. In a narrow escape, no casualty was reported. There were no injuries. An Accidental Relief Train is expected to reach the spot shortly.derail
