Fire breaks out in Lok Nayak Bhawan in Delhi, no casualties reported so far

Fire at Lok Nayak Bhawan in New Delhi. The building has offices of Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate.

New Delhi:  A fire broke out in Lok Nayak Bhawan in the national capital around 4 pm on Monday. The fire started at the fourth floor of the multi- storeyed building, located next to the upscale Khan Market. The building also comprises offices of Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate. Twenty five fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. No casualties have been reported so far. Evacuation process was conducted by rescue officials. Short circuit is said to be the reason of fire. More details are awaited.
