Eastern Railway will run 106 puja special trains

The trains will run between Sealdah and Ajmer, Sealdah and Anand Vihar, Howrah and Raxaul, Kolkata and Chhapra, Asansol and Patna, Malda Town and Haridwar, Kolkata and Lucknow and Howrah and Jammu Tawi.

Kolkata: To cope up with the huge rush of passengers during the ensuing Durga Puja festival, Eastern Railway will run 106 puja special trains to different destinations. The trains will run between Sealdah and Ajmer, Sealdah and Anand Vihar, Howrah and Raxaul, Kolkata and Chhapra, Asansol and Patna, Malda Town and Haridwar, Kolkata and Lucknow and Howrah and Jammu Tawi, an Eastern Railway statement said. These additional trains would generate 77,772 berths and 4,320 seats during the ensuing Durga Pujas, it said. Out of the 106 puja specials, 12 will be run between Sealdah and Ajmer, 12 between Sealdah and Anand Vihar, while 14 trains will run between Howrah and Raxaul.
