Congress President turns 48 today; Here's how he will celebrate his birthday

Birthday wishes for Gandhi started pouring in from Monday itself. Even Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumarswamy went to meet Gandhi to extend his wishes.

New Delhi: Congress President Rahul Gandhi turned 48 on Tuesday. Gandhi who was born on June 19, 1970 will be celebrating his birthday this year in the national capital, with party workers. Even Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to Gandhi via Twitter. “Birthday greetings to Congress President Shri Rahul Gandhi. I pray for his long and healthy life” PM said. Birthday wishes for Gandhi started pouring in from Monday itself. Even Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumarswamy went to meet Gandhi to extend his wishes. Gandhi usually celebrates his birthdays outside Delhi and prefers celebrating it with his close friends. But, on his first birthday as party president, Gandhi will be celebrating it at party head quarters in the national capital with the party workers. Various party units included Youth wing and women’s wing have planned programmes to make Gandhi’s birthday special.
