Congress President Sonia Gandhi Admitted To Sir Ganga Ram Hospital For Routine Tests
Earlier in the day, Sonia Gandhi held a meeting with party's Rajya Sabha MPs to discuss the ongoing political situation.
Congress' interim President Sonia Gandhi was admitted at 7 PM to the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Thursday, news agency ANI reported. A medical bulletin from the hospital said that she was admitted for 'routine tests' and investigations.
"She has been admitted for routine tests and investigations. Her condition is currently stable," hospital Chairman, Dr D.S. Rana said.
Earlier in the day, Sonia Gandhi held a meeting with party's Rajya Sabha MPs to discuss the ongoing political situation in the country. As per reports, the meeting with Congress top leaders was organised via video conference and went on for more than 3 hours. Some time back, Sonia Gandhi had also organised a similar meeting for its Lok Sabha members.
