Cloud burst in Uttarakhand's Munsiari; several vehicles & roads drown

DM Pithoragarh has ordered shutdown of schools in Dharchula and Mulyasari regions.

Pithorgarh, Uttarakhand: In a tragic incident, a cloud burst took place in Munsiari village, doing a huge damage to Seraghat Hydro Power Project and leaving the dam broken. The incident has taken in the area which shares its borders with China. The cloudburst led to huge amount of water getting gathering in the houses and the shops in the market, leading loss of property. The incident has also led to ruckus in the region. Though, no casualties have been reported so far. DM Pithoragarh has ordered shutdown of schools in Dharchula and Mulyasari regions. Cloud burst in Uttarakhand's Munsiari; several vehicles & roads drown The incident also led to drowning of several three-wheelers and road near Seraghat Hydro Project due to heavy water flow. So far no relief has been provided to the affected people.
