Chinese Army threatens India of war; increases troop strength at Dokalam

Chinese Army spokesperson asserted that "India must not stay under any kind of illusion"

New Delhi: Neighbouring China has once again threatened and warned India of a war. As per a statement issued by Chinese Army spokesperson Kian, it has cautioned India and declared that it would increase the Army strength at Dokalam border. Earlier India had asked China to remove its Army from Dokalam, but instead China has assured it would increase the number of Armymen deployed. Speaking on the issue Chinese Army spokesperson said, “Our aspiration to protection our sovereignty would never decline”. He further added saying, “Chinese Army has increased the deployment considering the situation on the border. We would increase the number further”. He also said that “India must not stay under any sort of illusion”. The statement comes in the wake of ongoing tension between India and China at the Dokalam border. Chinese and Indian soldiers have been locked in a face- off in Dokalam area in the southernmost part of Tibet in an area also claimed by Indian ally Bhutan for over a month after Indian troops stopped the Chinese army from building a road in the disputed area. Pentagon suggests 'indulge in dialogue':  Even Pentagon on Saturday suggested India and China to indulge in a dialogue to resolve the ongoing conflict. India and China should engage in direct dialogue free of any "coercive aspects" to reduce the tension over a military standoff in Dokalam, the Pentagon had said. CAG report raises brows: The statement comes two days after CAG report revealed that "Indian Army ammunition stock will be depleted if a war continues for more than 10 days".
