Chennai: Infosys employee brutally hacked to death at railway station

CHENNAI: A female Infosys employee was brutally hacked to death at the Nungambakkam railway station in Chennai on Friday morning. The incident occurred when she was waiting to board the suburban train for work in Mahindra Tech City. The victim, identified as 24-year-old Swathi, was a resident of South Gangai Street, Choolaimedu. It was a daily routine for Swathi to take sub-urban train from Nungambakkam railway station to Mahindra Tech City. She was attacked minutes after her father Sreenivasan, a retired central government employee, had dropped her at the station. The police have started the investigation and are in touch with her friends and relatives.
