Car in RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's convoy overturns

The incident took place in Warora here on Thursday evening when Bhagwat's Z-Plus motorcade was proceeding from Chandrapur to Nagpur.

Chandrapur (Maharashtra): A car in Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat's convoy overturned while trying to avoid a cow on a road here, official sources said on Friday. The incident took place in Warora here on Thursday evening when Bhagwat's Z-Plus motorcade was proceeding from Chandrapur to Nagpur. Though the car in which the RSS chief was travelling passed the cow, another car in the convoy with six CRPF troopers braked suddenly and suffered a tyre burst, causing it to turn turtle. One of the troopers sustained minor injuries and was taken to a Nagpur hospital. Bhagwat, a veterinary doctor, proceeded to the RSS headquarters in Nagpur, said RSS sources.
