Budget 2022: Netizens Post Dank Memes On 'Middle Class' Aspirations After FM Sitharaman's Speech

While the budget is keenly awaited by the people, and always gathers attention, it also gives food for thought to the netizens. To the Budget of 2022-23, the netizens have a lot to say. 

New Delhi: The Union Finance Minister presented the Budget for the year 2022-23 in the parliament today. This year’s budget focuses on reviving the economy and getting it back on the pre-pandemic level. 

While the budget is keenly awaited by the people, and always gathers attention, it also gives food for thought to the netizens. To the Budget of 2022-23, the netizens have a lot to say. 

A Twitter user took a dig at the opposition saying, “@PChidambaram_IN @Swamy39 @RahulGandhi @MamataOfficial @yadavakhilesh @ashokgehlot51 budget dekh rahe Ho Na... Start making notes and share in whatsapp so that similar message can be posted…”

Amid the high pressured budget announcement, memers were also not behind when it came to reacting to the budget. A memer posted a well-known meme template with the caption, “Middle Class watching the Budget only for Income Tax Slab announcement.”

After the budget announcement, some netizens were also seen rooting for the advantages and disadvantages of the middle class. One of the Twitter users wrote, “Budget 2022 in short: Indian middle class will die paying taxes.”

Another used a meme template featuring Akshay Kumar and Rajpal Yadav which said, “Government to tax-paying middle class during every budget  #Budget2022: Go from here, you don’t get anything.”

Meanwhile, another Twitter user posted a meme template featuring singer Kumar Sanu, saying, “Nirmala sitaraman to middle class tax payers : Sanam I am Sorry.”

Another memer using the famous song template wrote, "Kehndi hundi si, coin waalon ki band bajaade, Crypto ni pasand menu, 30% tax lagaade."

A Twitter user took a jibe on the government about the crypto investments saying, "By taxing crypto gains at 30%, govt is a crypto investor now. Profit hi profit."

One of the users wrote, "I don’t think Aliens exist. If they did, there would have been a Tax bracket for them as well 👽#Budget2022"
