BSF Women Personnel Shoots Down Drone Along India-Pakistan Border in Amritsar

The BSF troops shot down a Hexacopter entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village, Chaharpur, District, Amritsar Rural. The area has been cordoned.

New Delhi: The Border Security Force troops deployed at the border shot down a drone entering from Pakistan into Indian territory in the area falling near Village, Chaharpur, District, Amritsar Rural, as reported by the news agency ANI.  The area has been cordoned off, police and concerned sister agencies informed, as reported by ANI.

BSF recovered 1 Hexacopter in partially damaged condition along with a suspected item in white colour polyethene, ANI reported citing an official.

“BSF recovered 1 Hexacopter in partially damaged condition along with the suspected item in white colour polyethene attached underneath lying in a farming field on own side of border fencing near Village - Chaharpur,” ANI quoted Public Relation Officer BSF as saying.

Prabhakar Joshi, BSF DIG, Gurdaspur felicitated the BSF personnel who brought down a Hexacopter along with a suspected item in white colour polyethene attached underneath at a farming field on the Indian side of IB fencing.
