Mumbai-Goa highway bridge collapse: Death toll rises to 3, over 22 still missing

MUMBAI: A bridge on Savitri River on Mumbai-Goa Highway washed away in floods around 1:00 am bringing traffic to a halt. According to initial reports, two buses are reportedly missing. "Primary reason seems to be high pressure caused due to flooding of river Savitri due to heavy rains in catchment of Mahabaleshwar," said Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.
