BJP leaders in UP get a cut from slaughter houses: Shivpal Yadav
New Delhi: As Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections are coming closer, frequency of crimes occurring in the state is reportedly increasing every day.
Be it the issue of ‘atrocities against Dalits’, ‘gau raksha’ (protection of cow) or safety of women; the state has observed multiple incidents lately, and it seems that these issues are turning into prime subjects on the basis of which the people of UP would elect their mantri.
Highlighting the current political and social scenario in UP, and discussing the increase in number of crimes, ABP News spoke to senior Samajwadi Party leader Shivpal Singh Yadav who first seemed to defend his party by saying, “UP is a big state, with big population. Incidents take place in every state but, they don’t get highlighted”.
Yadav blatantly put the onus of the crimes occurring in Uttar Pradesh on Bhartiya Janta Party and RSS saying, “BJP and RSS have tried to spoil the environment in UP”. He went on and put very serious allegations on BJP regarding the cow slaughter in the state saying, “BJP talks about protection of cow, but its men are indulged in death of cows in slaughter houses, as the party receives money from these slaughter houses”.
The UP Minister also defended controversial party leader Azam Khan saying “he is a senior leader and says something after a lot of thought.”
Yadav also directly hit out at PM Modi and said, “PM has started talking about cow only after elections were around the corner. PM talks more and acts less. He has forgotten about Varanasi”.
He also spoke about PM Modi’s ‘clean Ganga’ dream and said, “Modi keeps speaking about Ganga, but he has never attempted to clean it. In fact we have done several attempts to clean the holy river”.
Yadav signed off by listing the number of steps taken for the growth of UP under the Samajwadi party rule and said, “UP has grown under SP and we are certain of a victory in the forthcoming elections”.
