Balaghat: Massive fire in cracker factory; 21 killed, 8 injured

Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh: In a tragic incident, a massive fire broke out in a cracker factory in Madhya Pradesh’s Balaghat district on Wednesday, killing at least 21 people and injuring 8 people. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced ex gratia to the families of the deceased. The CM also expressed his condolences over the tragic incident. A compensation of Rs two lakh each shall be given to the families of the people killed in the incident. Moreover, the government has also promised to bear all the expenses of the treatment of the injured. A probe has been launched to find the reason of fire which claimed so many lives.
