Ayesha Takia stalked, harassed; husband seeks PM Modi and Sushma Swaraj's intervention

Last year, Farhan Azmi has filed a complaint at the Colaba police station and allegedly told he is being threatened for targeted for marrying a Hindu woman.

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actress Ayesha Takia’s husband and SP leader Abu Azmi’s son Farhan Azmi on Twitter alledged that his wife, mother and sisters are beings talked by a litigant. With that hashtag #betibachao, Azmi wrote on Twitter “My wife Ayesha Takia , mother & sisters are being harassed, threatened stalked by a litigant, Mumbai Police DCP Dahiya refusing to answer my calls or messages. #DahiyaIPS has illegally frozen our bank accounts Dear PM Modi ji Sushma Swaraj Pls intervene!! ” He also shared screenshots of his conversation with the DCP of ZONE 9. He later thanked Deven Bharti, Joint CP(Law & Order) of Mumbai Police for stepping in. Last year, Farhan Azmi has filed a complaint at the Colaba police station after he received some threat calls from an unknown person. A leading daily quoted Azmi saying that the caller claimed to be from the Hindu Sena and allegedly told him that his family would be targeted and killed for he married a Hindu woman. In the Bollywood industry, Ayesha Takia is known for her movies like ‘Dor’, ‘Taarzan : The Wonder Car’ and Salman Khan starrer  ‘Wanted’. She has also appeared in a few Tollywood movies. She has a son with her husband Farhan Azmi.
