Army Drops New Video Showing Downed Pak Drones, Precision Strikes During Operation Sindoor: WATCH

The new video shared by the Army reinforces its steadfast commitment to safeguarding the nation, with the message: "I am awake and vigilant so that the nation can sleep peacefully."

The Indian Army on Monday released a new video on X highlighting key moments from Operation Sindoor to showcase the military precision and preparedness. The operation was launched on May 7 against terror camps in Pakistan in retaliation to the Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed 26 lives.

The video, shared by the Army's Western Command, captures a series of targeted airstrikes and the retrieval of Pakistani drones, indicating India's heightened surveillance and rapid response capabilities.

Among the standout moments in the video is a statement from an Air Defence (AD) gunner, who said: "I am an AD gunner, always ready to kill the enemy." The Army also asserted, "Living up to the motto of AAD... Enemy is reduced to ashes... High and accurate precision."

Operation Sindoor reportedly targeted nine terror-linked locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Following the strikes, Pakistan responded with shelling along the Line of Control and launched drone attacks along the International Borders. Thereafter, India expanded its military action in response and launched precision strikes on 11 Pakistani airbases, damaging radar systems, communication infrastructure, and airfields.

The intense escalation finally came to an end on May 10, after both countries agreed to a ceasefire, which led to a temporary easing of cross-border hostilities.

The Indian Army had shared another video on Sunday, showing how the forces neutralised Pakistan's missiles and intercepted the drones using S-400 defence system. Click here to watch the video.
