After arrest of Delhi SI's son, owner of call centre who recorded VIDEO of woman assault held

As per sources, the video recorded was later sent to another woman in order to threaten her.

New Delhi: A day after the shocking video of Delhi Sub Inspector’s son was arrested after he was seen thrashing a girl in a video; which was shot at a call centre by the owner of the centre itself; The Delhi police on Saturday arrested the man behind the camera as well. In a bone-chilling video, a man was caught blowing kicks and hurling abuses on a woman. The woman could be seen on the floor crying in pain, but that didn’t stop the accused. As per sources, the video recorded was later sent to another woman in order to threaten her. In a statement issued by the victim to the police, she was in a relationship with the accused for 1.5 years but now had nothing to do with her. The woman also stated that the man continuously threatened her and her family and was forcing her to marry him. The woman, seen in the video shared widely on social media and shown on TV channels, told the police that the accused, Rohit Tomar, called her to his friend's office in Uttam Nagar and sexually assaulted her, said Anto Alphonse, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka). The arrest took place hours after Home Minister Rajnath Singh directed Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik to take necessary action. Singh tweeted,"I have taken note of a video where a youth has been seen severely beating a woman. I have spoken to the Delhi Police Commissioner over the phone and directed him to take necessary action in this regard." In the video, Tomar is seen dragging the woman and brutally assaulting her.
