Adani, Ambani Bought Everyone, Can Never Buy My Brother As He Stands For Truth: Priyanka Gandhi

She said that the government spent crores of rupees to malign Rahul's image but it did not deter him from his path.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said that Ambani, Adani can buy everyone but not Rahul Gandhi adding that “he stands for truth”.

“Adani, Ambani bought everyone but can never buy my brother as he stands for truth,” she said.

Priyanka Gandhi joined his brother Rahul Gandhi in the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra at the Loni border on Tuesday

The Yatra has today entered Uttar Pradesh after a nine-day winter break. It has already crossed 3000 km and covered 46 districts in nine states in its over 100-day period so far.

She also spoke on Rahul Gandhi wearing a half t-shirt in winter. She said, “Someone asked me to save Rahul from cold as he is wearing a half t-shirt. Someone asked me if I don’t fear for his security. I tell them that he is wearing a shield of truth, God will protect him from everything.”

Hitting out at the Centre, Priyanka Gandhi alleged that the government has spent crores to destroy Rahul Gandhi’s image but this did not deter him.

“Government used its might, spent crores to destroy his image, but he, warrior, did not deter from the path of truth,” she said.

The yatra which began on September 7 has so far covered parts of Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra, and Haryana. It will culminate in Jammu and Kashmir.

With the yatra, Congress is trying to unite the people against the incumbent BJP government at the centre. The yatra will conculed in Srinagar on Janaury 26.

The Congress is now preparing to launch the 'Haath Se Haath Jodo' campaign. Rahul Gandi has entrusted sister and AICC national general secretary, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra with the responsibility of leading the 'Haath Se Haath Jodo' campaign across the country, with a special focus on women, reported ANI citing sources.
