The dumping ground located in the residential society of Noida will soon be removed and shifted to another place.

New Delhi: In a major impact of ABP News’ report and in a big relief to the people of Noida sector 123, the dumping ground located in the residential society will soon be removed and shifted to another place. The move comes as a major respite to the people who have been protesting against the dumping ground since about a week. ‘The Noida Authority has decided to shift the dumping ground from sector 123 of Noida and is exploring alternate sites for temporary storage and management of solid waste’, the CEO of the Authority informed in a statement. The dumping ground of the sector which has recently become functional has been creating a menace for the people of the society. Wastes are being dumped in the open ground which is not even bounded by walls. The foul odour from the heap of garbage has been making lives difficult for the people, who received a cold shoulder from the authorities when they complained about it. On International Day of Yoga the residents of the society staged their protest by wearing masks and performing Yoga. ABP News highlighted the difficulties of the people of Noida and as a result the authorities looked into the matter and worked towards liberating people from the problem.
